Managing your tenancy
There’s no place like home. In this section you'll find information about managing your tenancy, from owning pets, tenancy succession, making improvements and how to end your tenancy.

Adding a person

If you are a sole tenant you can request to change your tenancy to a joint tenancy. To be eligible the new proposed joint tenant needs to meet some simple requirements.

Tenancy succession

Succession is when a tenancy is passed to another household member in the event of the death of the main tenant. There are limitations on the household members who can succeed.

Making improvements

We understand that you may want to improve or alter certain aspects of your home. If you want to carry out alterations to your home, you need to receive permission before any works can start.

Subletting

Subletting is essentially when you let a part or the whole of your property to another person, who effectively then becomes a sub tenant. You must be the tenant to sublet.

We understand that many households benefit from keeping a pet. Unless there is good reason, we will be happy to welcome your pet into your home.

Guest accommodation

We provide guest rooms at most of our developments where we have employees on site. They’re mainly for tenants and their families to use, however other groups can also use them.
