Trust Wins Two National Awards at Prestigious Awards Ceremonies

24th June 2025

Trust are proud to announce that we have won winner of the Small Social Housing Development at the Scottish Home Awards 2025 and Regional Housing Association/Landlord of the Year at the Energy Efficient Awards (Scotland) Awards 2025.

Scottish Home Awards 2025 - Best Small Housing Development (under 100 units)

The award ceremony took place in Glasgow last Thursday evening with this particular category won by our recently completed Langlands Road development in Govan, Glasgow. The award category featured some strong competition from 21 other housing associations and councils, from across the length and breadth of Scotland, so we were thrilled for Trust to come out as overall winners in such a strong field.

The development has been thoughtfully designed to meet a range of housing needs, with homes built to the Housing for Varying Needs standards, Greener Standard, and Secure by Design Gold Standard. These high standards are further enhanced by advanced construction methods, which provide exceptional thermal performance — helping customers reduce heat loss, control energy costs, and lower their carbon footprint.

Located in the heart of Govan, on a prominent site, the development enjoys exceptional connectivity, just 200 metres from Govan Subway Station and Govan Bus Terminal. Its central location ensures our customers benefit from easy access to local services, shops, and transport links — while also being close to Trust’s Glasgow office and our existing Elder Street and Garmouth Court development.

Winning this award is a proud milestone for everyone at Trust and underlines our commitment to building more sustainable, secure, and affordable homes that help our customers and communities thrive. The award is also important as it raises our profile with funders and other partners, who support us to continue to not only grow, but also provide us with funding to invest in our existing homes.

A huge well done to all involved in the project, which although was led by the Assets & Sustainability Team, has involved many different teams across Trust to ensure its success. Energy Efficiency Awards (Scotland) 2025 - Regional Housing Association/Landlord of the Year

Hot on the heels of our Scottish Homes Award on Thursday night last week, Trust attended the awards Energy Efficiency Awards (Scotland) ceremony in Glasgow last Friday night, on a submission to the awards for Regional Housing Association/Landlord of the Year, for our recent Energy Efficiency Works on over 250 homes on the Isle of Arran.

Nominations for the award were open to Housing Associations who had undertaken energy efficiency upgrade works to their homes to improve the welfare and quality of life for their customers, during 2024/25. The shortlist for this category on the night were:

  • Trust Housing Association, in partnership with Green Home Systems Ltd
  • West of Scotland Housing Association, in partnership with Procast Group
  • Highland Council, in partnership with Union Technical Services

Trust faced some strong competition and therefore were delighted came out on top.

A huge well done to all involved in the project, which was led by the Assets & Sustainability Team, but has involved many different teams across Trust to ensure its success.
