Change to ‘Out of Hours’ Repair Reporting Phone Number

Following a competitive tender process, Rodgers & Johnston Ltd were successful in winning the contract to deliver this service on our behalf. Rodgers & Johnston have worked successfully with Trust for several years and we are delighted they will be continuing to deliver a top-level service to our customers for repairs and maintenance, we have also extended the contract of Saltire Facilities Management Ltd who will continue to deliver our gas heating services. 

Following this change, we will be switching our ‘Out of Hours’ call handling to, Hanover Scotland who currently provide out of hours call services to other Trust properties. This change only applies to all Out of Hours Emergency repairs & heating issues; removing the requirement to directly contact Saltire. 

Our updated ‘Out of Hours’ repair reporting phone number moving forward will be 0345 604 4686. This change will be effective from Friday 2nd February 2024. 

We assure you that our repairs service will continue to operate as usual and provide you with the best quality and timely solutions. To report any repair issues, it is important that all repairs and maintenance enquiries are logged via our Repairs Team in the first instance to allow us to:  

  • Record every repair/maintenance inquiry in one central place 
  • Prioritise workloads 
  • Meet our target timescales, and 
  • Provide the best possible service to our customers. 

If you a have a non-emergency repair or maintenance enquiry, you should contact our Repairs Team by: 

  • via our ‘Report a Repair’ form on the Trust website

  • phone 0131 444 1200   

The Repairs Team will be able to assist you in most cases, however they may request one of our Reactive Repairs and Maintenance Inspectors to call you to find out more details or to arrange to carry out an inspection.
