Executive Team

Trust is managed by a small Executive Team consisting of the Chief Executive, Director of Finance & Business Services, Director of Customer Services and Director of Asset Management Services.



Rhona McLeod

Chief Executive

I joined Trust as CEO in May 2015, having previously worked in the health and care sector. I am proud to lead an organisation that really values people – both our customers and those who work as part of the Trust team. I bring to the role experience of business leadership, strategy and change at both Director and CEO level. Trust has an open and inclusive culture and is focused on delivering excellence in the services we provide. For the future I want to ensure we build on the great things we do now and continue to develop Trust as a thriving and growing organisation.

Gail Gourlay

Director of Customer Services & Interim Director of Asset Management Services

I have over 30 years’ experience within the housing sector, having started out as a management trainee for the City of Edinburgh Council in 1985.I joined Trust in 1992 as Regional Manager and have witnessed the organisation transform over the years and I am very proud to part of Trust. The main skills that I bring are leadership, an in-depth knowledge of the sector and the ability to motivate others to deliver a first class service to our customers.

Gail is also currently acting as Interim Director of Asset Management Services.

Zoe Purdie

Director of Finance and Business Services

I qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor in 2005.  I began my varied career in accountancy practice providing accounts, audit and taxation support to a wide range of clients in the private and not for profit sectors. I have operated at Director level within the food manufacturing and consultancy/project management sectors. As well as a strong commercial background, I have previously worked for government funded organisations and I’m therefore well versed in operating under strict regulations and providing value for money.
Together with my day to day responsibility to lead the Finance, HR, Procurement, Corporate Services and EDI teams, I support the wider Leadership Team and Board as the financial conscience of the organisation to ultimately safeguard the long-term financial stability of Trust for its tenants and employees.
