Responsible to: Supported Housing Co-ordinator

Job Summary:                          
The Domestic is appointed as a member of the Development’s staff team.  He/she is responsible for ensuring that the development is cleaned and maintained to a high standard.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. To be aware of the policies of Trust Housing Association to the extent that these policies affect the complex.
  2. To ensure the pursuance of the aims and objectives of the complex.
  3. To work under supervision of the Supported Housing Co-ordinator and to liaise with other staff members.
  4. To be responsible for the cleaning of the development.
  5. To ensure that the cleaning of the development and individual tenants’ flats is maintained at a high standard.
  6. To ensure that the development is maintained in a safe and hygienic manner at all times.
  7. To participate in team meetings.
  8. On regular occasions, as specified by the Supported Housing Co-ordinator, to have sole responsibility for the building and for responding to emergency situations, including usage of the call system.
  9. To maintain entries in the day book, as required.
  10. To be prepared to undergo any appropriate training.
  11. To undertake any other relevant duties as are considered appropriate to the post.
