Responsible to: Supported Housing Co-ordinator
Job Summary:
The Domestic is appointed as a member of the Development’s staff team. He/she is responsible for ensuring that the development is cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To be aware of the policies of Trust Housing Association to the extent that these policies affect the complex.
- To ensure the pursuance of the aims and objectives of the complex.
- To work under supervision of the Supported Housing Co-ordinator and to liaise with other staff members.
- To be responsible for the cleaning of the development.
- To ensure that the cleaning of the development and individual tenants’ flats is maintained at a high standard.
- To ensure that the development is maintained in a safe and hygienic manner at all times.
- To participate in team meetings.
- On regular occasions, as specified by the Supported Housing Co-ordinator, to have sole responsibility for the building and for responding to emergency situations, including usage of the call system.
- To maintain entries in the day book, as required.
- To be prepared to undergo any appropriate training.
- To undertake any other relevant duties as are considered appropriate to the post.
