Our mission is “to provide quality homes and services that promote independent living”.

Established in 1973 the then Kirk Care Housing Association was formed to assist older people and others in housing need. Our objectives today follow a similar path, and we provide over 2400 homes throughout Scotland. We are a major employer with over 350 office and development based staff working throughout Scotland.

A not-for-profit housing association, we are registered and monitored by The Scottish Housing Regulator and manage our housing and services through three offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Arran. We offer a range of rented accommodation, and some shared ownership, for older people, families and others in housing need. 2004 saw a name change to Trust Housing Association as well as organisational restructuring.

We continue to strive to put people first in all that we do.

We have a number of values which reflect the way we work and how we aim to be in all that we do, these are:

  • Caring
  • Service Excellence
  • Quality
  • Value for Money
  • Professional

We have 5 objectives which we will pursue in order to deliver our mission:

  • Customers First
  • Provider of Choice
  • Prepared for Change, Ready for Opportunities
  • Employer of Choice
  • Effective Communication, Leadership and Direction

Our key areas of housing provision are

  • Older People (amenity, sheltered, very sheltered housing and housing with care)
  • General Needs (housing for families and others)
